Danske Bank/National Irish Bank

Danske Bank Ireland is a subsidiary of the Danish multinational bank Danske. It bought the National Irish Bank in 2005. That bank's history dates back to 1809. It offered a full range of banking services to personal and business customers but in 2013 it announced that it was discontinuing its personal banking products and would no longer be offering them to new customers. It has also scaled back its business banking operation.
